The Space Foundation, the Astronauts Memorial Foundation and NASA annually present the Alan Shepard Technology in Education Award to recognize outstanding contributions by K-12 educators and district level personnel in the field of educational technology.

2014 International Student Art Contest

The 2014 Space Foundation International Student Art Contest theme, "My Spaceship Looks Like...," challenged students to design their own spaceship - and then interpret that idea into an original work of visual art.
